Over the past two years, MORC Home Care has received a funding increase of almost $800,000 from the Michigan Department of Community Health, a direct result of the savings made from transitioning or diverting people out of nursing homes and into the community. In addition, MORC Home Care has received grants over the years from the Michigan Office of Services to the Aging.

The concept of Self-Determination has been incorporated into the MORC Home Care program.
